Favourite drink to start the night:
Honestly depends on the night: most of the time it’s whisky and soda, sometimes it’s a mojito.
Best mojito made was at Galvin’s in 2018
Go-to hangover cure:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, pizza, closed curtains, and sympathy.
Best meal I’ve had this year:
I haven’t yet. Do you have a recommendation?
Late-night snack I pretend not to love:
Chocoloate covered chickpeas, with some chili flakes…
Best place for a Sunday roast:
Cat + Mutton, Hackney. I still need to try The Ned, Poultry and The Landry, Birxton.
Candle I keep buying again and again:
Diptyque “Feu de Bois”. It’s like a fireplace with good taste.
Neom and & Other Stories have gorgeous candles too. Fun fact: I rarely ever light them, because burning wax sometimes give me a headache. I love the smell of them though – the more the better.
Skincare product that never lets me down:
La Roche Posay – Lipikar Body Cream
L’Occitane – Almond Shower Oil
Cosrx – Snail Mucin
Perfume that makes people stop me in the street:
Carolina Herrera – Good Girl. The bottle design reminds me of a Dominatrix heel. Exquisite.
Favourite place to watch ballet:
Royal Opera House, grand tier. The view, the velvet, the ritual. I am partial to watching shows at Sadler’s Wells…
Current favourite pair of shoes:
A mustard pair of strappy heels! Forgot where from.
And you cannot go wrong with a classic pair of white Converses.
Favourite shoe of all time:
Easy – these strappy brown suede heels with a wooden platform and wooden heel. From All Saints way back in the day (remember the leather jackets?!)
Place I recommend to visitors, every time:
The bar at Claridge’s. Classy, not chaotic.
Favourite fruit:
Mango. If you could snag me a few from Kuala Lumpar, you’d be my favourite x
New obsession:
Touch therapy
Watching shows that came out years ago, but didn’t/ wasn’t allowed to watch them:
Buffy/ Angel
Charmed & X Files are next! I won’t really get stuck in to anything new before winter, so I would love your recommendations if you have any…
Films/ shows about Vampires
